Some good news to share! The test today came back negative, so labor within next 1-2 weeks is not imminent. My Dr. was happy about that. We are still administering the steroids and begin that with the first dose tonight, followed by 3 more every 12 hours for the next two days. Just to be on the safe side of things. My Dr. checked my "anatomy" and it appears that it's just one side that is not behaving, so she will watch that and continue to monitor with weekly sonos.
We are all breathing a little easier right now. I'm also glad to know that I probably won't be going into labor at my shower on Saturday! So, the next step is CJ giving me my shot in the rump. I can't wait to see how that all goes...wish us luck!
Thank you for all of the comments, e-mails, phone calls, text messages, good thoughts and prayers. They are most appreciated. We feel so blessed to have such a wonderful support system of family and friends during this time. We will continue to keep looking ahead and I will take my Dr. orders to rest and relax and keep cooking this little man!

Glad to hear that things seem ok. I know it can be scary at times, but just keep the birth of baby in mind and know in the end, you'll have your healthy, happy baby to enjoy. Keep up the resting and good luck with the shots. i have to give myself shots for my migraines and Joel has had to give them to me too, so tell CJ just to do it fast... best of luck and keep us posted
Jaime! Be well! Sounds like you and your dr. are really on top of things, so that's great. think positive and stay relaxed (and seriously, enjoy this time to yourself before the baby - catch up on rest!). when this is all over, whenever that is, you're going to have so much fun with that baby boy (i've started blogging my adventures with patrick!).
we're thinking good thoughts for you, CJ and Baby A out here in L.A.
xoxo beth, patrick and neil
